Online outboars is the best company for tahatsu motors , very honest and reliable company to order from online. I ordered myself a 9.8hp tohatsu, and they reserved it for me for 2 weeks while the financing went through. That speaks volumes, they could have just sold it to another client and made a quick but but they didn't. They made my summer boating dream become a reality! They also gave very knowledgeable info on care and maintenance for these outboard motors , and are also very friendly staff.

The service of all involved was excelent, the delivery was great and the motor looks great. The only thing I feel is not what I expected is the size and weight of the 4 horse motor. I was told it would be 57 pounds but I believe it is quite a bit heavier, I.m not positive on that I haven' t weighed it. I am going to get it set up and see how it performs. Once I get it on my boat and in the waterI, I'm sure it will be excelent.

ordering procedure was simple and easy. Outboard arrived in a couple of days. I had a query about the lower unit gear oil, and they replied right away. Also recently rec'd e-mails with tips for service which was appreciated too.

I bought a 6hp short shaft for my jonboat setup. Had it for over a year now. Max rating for this boat and it moves it well. 15mph on smooth water. Very pleased, great service and shipping. Paid by etransfer so got a 2% discount too. Thanks OOC.

I will admit I was a bit leery about purchasing an outboard "online" (A Tohatsu 4hp as a kicker) because of the amount of $ I was spending (Yeah, it's a Boomer thing LoL!). However, it was an absolutely painless and pleasant experience. Shipping was prompt and any questions I sent them via email was respond to within a couple of hours. I bought a like new Tohatsu 9.8 that did not run for more than 5 years and needed some small parts and advices to make sure to put it back on track the right way.
